Where to Stay
A few favorites near the venue — we'd recommend booking early, as rooms in the Mugello fill up for a summer wedding.
Il Salviatino · 5★
A five-star retreat in a frescoed 15th-century villa set in five hectares of gardens in the hills of Fiesole — the grandest stay, between the Mugello and Florence.
Villa Campestri Olive Oil Resort · 4★
A four-star 13th-century hilltop villa set in olive groves near Vicchio — a romantic, quintessentially Tuscan stay a short drive from the venue.
Monsignor della Casa Country Resort & Spa · 4★
A four-star Renaissance-villa resort just outside Borgo San Lorenzo with a spa, two pools, and tennis — about 30 minutes from Florence and close to the venue.
We may reserve a room block closer to the date — mention “Nancy & Alexander Wedding” when booking.
Getting There
Villa di Striano is in the Mugello, north of Florence. The nearest airport is Florence (FLR, Amerigo Vespucci), about a 40-minute drive. Pisa (PSA) is roughly 1.5 hours away, and Bologna (BLQ) is another option.
Parking
Complimentary on-site parking is available at the venue.
Transit
Regional trains run from Florence to Borgo San Lorenzo, but a car is recommended to reach the villa and explore the Tuscan countryside.
